Hi everyone,

Today, more creators are making a living on YouTube than ever before. However, with this growth we’ve started seeing cases of abuse where great, original content is re-uploaded by others who try to earn revenue from it.

Starting today, we will no longer serve ads on YPP videos until the channel reaches 10k lifetime views. This new threshold gives us enough information to determine the validity of a channel. It also allows us to confirm if a channel is following our community guidelines and advertiser policies. By keeping the threshold to 10k views, we also ensure that there will be minimal impact on our aspiring creators. And, of course, any revenue earned on channels with under 10k views up until today will not be impacted.

In a few weeks, we’ll also be adding a review process for new creators who apply to be in the YouTube Partner Program. After a creator hits 10k lifetime views on their channel, we’ll review their activity against our policies. If everything looks good, we’ll bring this channel into YPP and begin serving ads against their content. Together these new thresholds will help ensure revenue only flows to creators who are playing by the rules.

Introducing Expanded YouTube Partner Program Safeguards to Protect Creators

For millions of creators, making videos on YouTube isn’t just a creative outlet, it’s a source of income. We set up the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) in 2007. Today, more creators are making a living on YouTube than ever before. However, with this growth we’ve started seeing cases of abuse where great, original content is re-uploaded by others who try to earn revenue from it. To help protect creator revenue, we recently made it easy for anyone to report an impersonating channel. To date, this change has helped us terminate hundreds of thousands of channels violating our policies. Now, we're taking another step to protect creators by updating the thresholds required to join the YouTube Partner Program.

Starting today, we will no longer serve ads on YPP videos until the channel reaches 10k lifetime views. This new threshold gives us enough information to determine the validity of a channel. It also allows us to confirm if a channel is following our community guidelines and advertiser policies. Baru aja kepikiran mo ikutan cari makan dari youtube... jadi mikir lagi... ijin nyimak gan, pengen tau kek gimana dunia persilatan di youtube

 

Youtube belakangan ini di isi dengan orang - orang yang bertanya:
"Gimana Caranya Nyari Uang Di Internet Yang Ga Usah Kerja"
jadi banyak channel abal2 sampe masuk trending, jadi yang mau main YouTube jangan nganggap enteng, ibarat bikin blog kalau copy paste doang yang ga bakalan berhasil , youtube juga sama kalau upload ulang video orang lain ngapain? nyari uang itu susah bikin video itu susah makannya kalau mau kaya ga pake usaha ke kanjeng dimas aja haha

pantesan ane liat youtube bbrp bulan terakhir ini kek banyak banget yang cuman dirubah2x dikit... biasanya auto play ane macem2x lagunya, kok ini itu lagi itu lagi.. tapi beda channel hehhee.

Kl yang ane tangkep dari ini: Youtube akan memperketat atau menyeleksi kelayakan channel terutama channel baru s/d 10k view.. jadi targetnya channel dan creator baru. Menurut saya pribadi sih ada positif nya karena dengan kemudahan yg diberikan selama ini banyak melahirkan creator baru yg prematur dan tidak mengindahkan community guidelines. jika diambil dari segi positif nya mudah2an kita sebagai creator mau terus belajar dan terus update tentang aturan main YT (community guidelines).

intinya channel baru bisa di monetize kalau udah 10k view dan nanti bakalan di review layak atau engga buat dipasang adsense
alasan mereka menetapkan kebijakan baru ini karena banyak channel reupload

biar bikin yang baru baru..jadi nontonya ga bosan

Bagusnya mengurangi pesaingan, buruknya udah gak mudah lagi dapet duit dari yt

 

Bagus dong, malah ngurangin channel sampah di YouTube yg kerjaannya reupload doang

reupload sudah ada lama dari dulu, tapi youtube baru bertindak ngerubah sistem sekarang
ini pasti gara gara kemarin kemarin di boikot advertiser besar besaran
karena ilang uang banyak makanya yt ga tinggal diam
